 Metal brackets are the most frequently used, economical, fast and effective, prefabricated brackets from past to present. It is generally preferred in children and adolescent age groups due to its low aesthetic concerns. Porcelain Brackets or sapphire brackets are more aesthetic brackets than metal brackets applied to the outer surfaces (labial) of the teeth.
